Designer, Color Consultant
Juan Rojas Aguilar brings to Waking State Design 35 years of experience as a designer, color consultant, artist and art director.
Juan’s diverse experience includes having worked as an independent Art Director, Production Designer, and Visual Consultant in film, television, music videos, commercials and theater, restoration of classic cars such as Dusenburgs and Cords, designer and fabricator of fine furniture and three dimensional objects, photographer, conceptual artist, graphic designer, and construction supervisor for multi-million-dollar projects.
As a Los Angeles Artist/Designer, his work has been featured in several museum group shows as well as many art and photography exhibitions throughout the U.S.
Juan’s design process involves the use of infinite combinations of materials, technologies and colors that together with lighting to achieve subtle results laden with references from literature to form a vivid visual language.

Writer, Creative Brand Strategist
Tara Gardiner is a Creative Brand Strategist + Writer based out of Los Angeles, CA, servicing clients worldwide. Tara enjoys building and polishing brands through the art of storytelling and writing.
As Founder of Gardiner Connections, her boutique firm specializes in branding, sales and marketing strategies across many industries including fashion, clean energy, technology, pet industry, wellness and more. Tara provides structure, support and accountability for her clients. She utilizes creative approaches and unique strategies to help create desired outcomes and scale businesses.
Powered by plants and a certified yoga teacher, she travels this beautiful earth whenever possible, hikes, and enjoys love from her four-legged canine assistant.

Web Developer
Anissa has provided her expertise as a web developer to WSD since 2008. Her specialties include, ASP .net C#, Sql, PHP, SharePoint, MS Teams, CSS, JavaScript, Kofax TotalAgility, Nintex Forms & Workflows, Wordpress, E-commerce, OpenCities, Social Media Communications and Marketing.
When she’s not programming, she loves hiking, traveling, and is a certified and seasoned Zumba instructor!
